Japan Drum Machines (80’s)

The explosion of drum machine production strongly characterized the sound of the 80s, introducing a synthetic element to the sound that made it easily distinguishable.

What seemed like a limit instead became a form of guarantee certificate in New Wave and Pop.

We could cite endless lists of bands and artists who based their drum sounds on DrMachine for innovation, portability and ease of use. Just to name a few: Michael Jackson, Depeche Mode, New Ordes, Madonna etc etc etc..

The programming of the drums of the Japanese manufacturers stood out for its simplicity compared to other manufacturers, so much so that even today Roland, Korg etc. continue to churn out new models that are based on historical principles and add new features to the original sampling
